Bear Proof Food Lockers

Thanks to match funding by the Pioneer Women's Jubilee Club, and volunteers, Joe Hearn, Harry MacKendrick, & Tim Crist, 4 brand new bear proof food lockers were installed at the Hinsdale County Wupperman Campground.

Joe Hearn went above and beyond by building the forms, mixing and pouring the concrete! Thank you Joe.

These food lockers were installed at the sites used by tent campers. These lockers are in place so that campers will not have to store food and smelly items in their vehicles.
